Bud Searles, President and owner of Bud Searles Ltd., has been a driving force in the automotive industry for forty years. He began his career selling cars for Wills Motors in Caledonia. During that time, he was the recipient of many awards bestowed on him by General Motors in recognition of excellence. In 1969, Bud and two of his brothers purchased that same dealership and operated it together. In 1974, Bud struck out on his own, when he had the opportunity to purchase Henderson Chev/Olds in Jarvis, Ontario. The dealership was renamed Bud Searles Chev/Olds Ltd. And through dedication and hard work, the business flourished. Bud has always valued his integrity and reputation for honesty and his concern for his customers after the sale resulted in his dealership being consistently ranked in the 97% range through General Motors Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).  

Tragedy struck on November 13, 2001 when a fire caused total destruction to the Bud Searles Chev/Olds facility. Although devastated, Bud did not give up. He continued to conduct business working out of a trailer for a year before making the decision to relinquish his General Motors franchise. This was a significant turning point, paving the way for a promising and exciting new direction. Bud, along with his wife Michele and two daughters, Barbara and Kelly recently built a beautiful, state-of-the-art pre-owned automotive dealership located on Highway 6 in Caledonia, Ontario.
